I've had a frustrating phone conference, left a condescending comment on a friend's blog, and sent a lame-wad e-mail that can only come back to haunt me.
so let me guess: the bird-releasing overall guy in this strip represents dave, the "birds" are the (according to you) "lame-wad" e-mail and "condescending" comment, and ooh ooh, do i get to be punching guy (since i'm guessing that comment was the one you left for me)?
or does punching guy represent your bad day more generally?

p.s.--is there a continuity error in the last frame (overall guy no longer wearing overalls)?? or did that punch knock the bad guy's overall right off?

Speculation has it that the overalls were removed in anticipation of a brawl the likes of which has never been seen.
And no metaphor. i was just depressed and Mark Trail's particular brand of righteous justice cheers me up.
