The Fight of the First Quater of the Next-to-Last Year of the First Decade of the 21st Century!

Would you pay to watch Matt Damon debate Bill Kristol on the subject "We Won the War in Iraq"?

You may get your chance.

I’ll only watch if Big Hollywood can GUARANTEE, after the moderately liberal Kristol gives him a beating, Damon’s head explodes like his marionette in Team America.

And you all know that the "moderately liberal" Kristol is now unemployed, yes?

This reminds me of something Jeanine Garafolo said when she was put on news networks as the voice of the anti-war movement. She'd be put on there to debate retired generals, so that right off the bat her celebrity was used as a tool to marginalize her. Same thing happening here?

of course. hollywood celebrities are only good for one thing...acting.

What I find interesting/weird is that people will love an actor until they find out that he or she has liberal political views. Then they say stuff like "I used to think we has so smart, but now I see he's just another Hollywood mouth piece for the far-left liberal agenda!" Then comes the requisite pledge to never watch another movie with that actor.

Damon comes in for particular scorn because he was Jason Bourne, a character a right-winger desperately wants to love, but then it turns out that the government is evil, which right-wingers would normally agree with, but not when it comes to our brave men and women who run covert ops.
