Berg's Ski and Snowboard Shop said...Does the owner of Berg's Ski Shop know that his or her employees are posting on far-right wingnut websites in the company's name? Or is this the owner? Is this common knowledge? Am I out of a loop here? Either way, you lose my business just for the horrible and obvious-for-months-now pun.

"Far right wingnut" blog?
So a blog that has routinely criticized GW Bush.
Was one of the first Republicans to call for the resignation of Rumsfeld.
Who actually had nice things to say about Jeff Merkley.
Has taken a more moderate tone on illegal immigration.
And has, at times, recently even had some nice things to say about Obama.
Etc... Is far right?
And your definition of NOT being a "far right wing nut" is?
Or is it that you adhere to the moonbat rules that anyone who is a Republican is (fill in the blank)?
Wondering who the reasonable one is at this county fair.

Once I saw you pushing the Obama birth certificate story, I put you in the wingnut category.
Just for a taste: http://nwrepublican.blogspot.com/2008/12/obamas-birth-certificate-space-monkeys.html

Did you even read the post? Or did you simply scan it and the apply your unfair stereotype to your simple scan? (moonbat rule 1.0)
The only reason I published that post was because the issue was finally making it's way into the national media and it was AT LEAST more credible than the stupid Palin baby stuff.
Or did you even care to read my follow up story after the court rejected the argument?
http://nwrepublican.blogspot.com/2008/12/obama-birth-certificate-scotus-rejects.html
Let me help you: "I cautiously gave the story a little bit of bandwidth and thus I feel compelled to make sure this latest decision, putting an end to it, is also posted.
Or did you happen to read my post where I gave Obama some credit for his outreach to governors?
http://nwrepublican.blogspot.com/2008/12/obama-on-high-note.html
Or are you simply so full of hatred and partisanship that you cannot allow yourself to be in the least bit objective to anyone outside the most extreme left?
Again I provided a litany of issues that have separated my commentary from the most extreme one sided commentary on the left.
Apparently, and fully in line with the moonbat rules, anyone who does not conform to your unfair stereotype of conservatism is guilty of guilty of conforming to your unfair stereotype of conservatism.
Next step is moonbat rule 2.0.

Coyote,
Can't see where I have done or said anything that might indicate that I have any hatred for you. To me, you are a wingnut. To you, I am a moonbat. Can't see why we can't get along. It's not like I want to move in and raise kids with you.
The fact that you seem to think the Obama post I linked to was some sort of fair neutral treatment of the "story" demonstrates how far out there you are.
If you really think that putting up a post that isn't an all-out attack every now and again makes you not a wingnut or somehow better than left-wing blogs, then more power to you. Of course your tone and snideness directed toward Clinton in the post you linked to undercuts some of your "fair and balanced" rhetoric. You talk smack about Bush. Great! I think you'll see many left-wing sites criticizing Obama.
Your non-stop over-the-top reporting about ACORN trying to destroy democracy as we know it was enough for wingnut status in my book. Your insinuations that Franken somehow stole the election in Minn. is enough. Your assertion that Dems always steal recounts is way over the top. Your love of the crook Sizemore is hilarious.
You're on the far-right, man. You're a wingnut. Accept it and move on.
As far as moonbat rule 2.0, I'm going to have to claim innocence here. Most of the Republicans I know are good, honest people. One of them is a close friend. We disagree politically, sometimes strenuously, but we know that we both have good intentions and are acting in what we think is the best interests of the nation (okay, sometimes the best interests of our party, but you know, longer-term in the interests of the nation through the power of our party).
Looking forward to discussing the issues of the day with you. I imagine that we will have to do that here, as I don't foresee a way that i could post on your site without having my comments deleted, as is your habit. - January 9, 2009 at 11:30 AM

Well there you go.
First you are a moonbat if you fit the moonbat rules. I had not called you a moonbat until you started with the stretch that I am somehow a "far right wingnut."
Your case was weak unless you start applying the moonbat rules.
Up to that point I do not know enough about you to make any kind of claim.
You further prove my point about you being a moonbat by falsely claiming that it is my "habit" to delete posts on my blog.
The only way you could come to that conclusion is if you are starting with a false notion of just who I am and what I do.
I do not make it a "habit" to delete comments on my blog.
Unless it is someone who decides that they can start lofting ad hominem attacks and make blanket criticisms while being anonymous AND without backing up such claims.
There was a flood of that by "moonbats" during the election so I simply tightened down the rules to provide a better atmosphere for discussion.
I would not enter the home of a liberal with a bag over my head and start criticizing him/her and theirs and expect them to sit back and welcome it.
Apparently those on the left feel they have a right to do that with me.
Now if you agree with them then that is one more piece of evidence that you just might be a moonbat.
You have already given plenty of evidence that you are and extremist blinded by partisanship.

Sad to see that the Obamanation might just end up being an Abomination to traditional values.
